Loud, Proud and Passionate, MIUSA Celebrates 30-years of Empowering Women

In celebration of their 30th anniversary, Mobility International USA (MIUSA) has released a music video, entitled Loud, Proud and Passionate!, that celebrates the pride, achievement and solidarity of women with disabilities around the world.

Filmed during MIUSA’s 5th Women’s Institute on Leadership and Disability (WILD), the video features singing and signing in Arabic, Spanish and English by 54 disabled women activists from 43 countries.

WILD delegates in the video come from Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Bangladesh, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Chile, China, Columbia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lesotho, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka, St. Lucia, Syria, Turkey, Uganda, United States of America, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

WILD works to revolutionize the status of women with disabilities around the world in eudcation, employment, HIV/AIDS, violence prevention, legal rights and political power.
